Solution:

Let the CP of one article

=₹ 1

Then, CP of 25 articles

=₹ 25

SP of 35 articles

=₹ 25

SP of 1 article

=₹ {25}/{35}=₹ {5}/{7}

Loss on 1 article

={\CP}-{\SP}

=1-{5}/{7}={2}/{7}

Loss percentage

={{ \Loss }}/{{\CP}} ×100

={({2}/{7})}/{1} ×100

=28.57 \%
