'Saga Dawa' is celebrated in the State of Sikkim. It is one of the most important Buddhist festivals of the country. It is called the 'month of merits' for Tibetan Buddhists. It usually begins in May and ends in June. This month is especially dedicated to 'making merit'. Merit is usually understood in terms of good karma.
