33 men can complete a job in 30 days. If 44 men started the same job together and after every day of the job, one person leaves then in how many days will the job finish?

Solution:

Total work done by 33 men in 30 days

33 ×3 0 = 44×1 + 43×1

+ 42× 1 + ............

9 9 0 = n/2 (2 × 44 + (n - 1)( 1))

Solving for n, we get:
n = 44
