Noise is a function of band width. Lesser the band width less is the pick up of noise, while the voltmeter with broad band with is sensitive to pick up more noise. Voltmeter with band width of 10 HZ – 10 MZ has sensitivity of 1 mv. Some voltmeter having a bandwidth up to 5MHZ have sensitivity of 100 µv
