Solution:

Rate of doing work (i.e. work done per day) for A, B and C are 1/10, 1/15 and 1/20 respectively. Let the work be completed in t days. Given A and B worked for 2 days and 4 days respectively before they left, implies C has worked for t days.

⇒ \;{2}/{10}+\;{4}/{15}+\;{t}/{20}=1

⇒ t=20 ×(1-\;{2}/{10}-\;{4}/{15})=10^{2/3}
