Solution:

Since

x -1

and

x-2

are factors of

x^{3}-6 x^{2}+A x+B

⇒ 1-6+A+B=0 ⇒ A+B=5

8-24+2 A+B=0 ⇒ 2 A+B=16

Solving

A = 11; B = -6

∴ A^{2}+B^{2}=121+36=157
