(d) ${17}^{\mathit{t}\mathit{h}}$ SAARC (2011) conference was held in Addu City. The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was established with the signing of SAARC charter in Dhaka on $8^{\mathit{t}\mathit{h}}$ December, 1985. SAARC comprises of eight-member nations –Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan,India, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The Secretariat of the Association was set up in Kathmandu on January 17, 1987.
